1. The service
StoryOS is a cloud service for structured novel writing. You need an account to use the service.
2. Account
You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for all activity on your account.
3. Trial and subscriptions
New users get a 14-day free trial. After the trial you need a subscription to continue writing and using AI features.
4. Billing
Subscriptions are handled via Stripe. By subscribing you agree to recurring billing until you cancel via the customer portal.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel any time via the customer portal. We do not refund the current period, but you keep access until the period ends.
6. Your content
You own everything you write in StoryOS. We do not train AI models on your content.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in the app.
